The song is originally published in Caccini's song book Il Primo Delle Musiche (1618). This edition (2023) is transcripted by Miikku Selin.

In this edition I have written the original writings as a modern notation as faithfully to the original as I can, but in addition, I have also suggested suitable chords for bassline, while the original text doesn't include chords.
